I didn’t choose the creative life; it chose me.
 
When I was younger, I steered away from a creative career because I didn’t want to turn my passion into “work.” I thought keeping it separate would protect it. Turns out, it didn’t. 
 
I went to school to study international development and geography with plans for law school. After a year working in Jamaica overseas, I returned to Canada just in time for COVID, unemployed, back at my parents’ house, and in a strange in-between chapter.
 
That’s when I leaned back into my passion for graphic design and photography. I enrolled in a certification program at Humber College, and what started as fun projects quickly became paid work. I began freelancing, first for friends, then for strangers. and realized this wasn’t just a side hustle.
 
I stepped into the agency world to test myself, and over the past five years, I have grown from a graphic designer to a Creative Director. Today, I’m driven by big ideas, meaningful brands, and teams that push boundaries.
 
Turns out, mixing passion with work was exactly what I was meant to do.
